I know exactly how it feels to walk through the doors of a school with a tiny baby in your arms. It is one of the most emotional, bittersweet transitions a parent will ever make. In Montessori, we don’t call our infant space a daycare room. We call it the Nido, which is the Italian word for “nest.” And that is exactly what we have built here, a soft, warm Montessori Nido Program.
If you look around at typical centers while searching for montessori infant care, you will often see rooms filled with bright, flashing plastic toys, and babies placed in swings, walkers, or high chairs to keep them safely contained. But for us, infancy is not a time to “contain” a child. It is a critical window of rapid, beautiful brain and body development.

Over the years, I have been privileged to watch hundreds of babies take their very first steps toward independence in our classrooms. I’ve watched tiny infants, barely a few months old, learn to coordinate their hands to reach for a hanging wooden ring, focusing with an intensity that would surprise most adults.
I’ve watched babies who were initially fussy or easily startled settle into the calm, predictable rhythm of our room, learning to regulate their emotions simply because their environment is peaceful.
And as they grow, I watch them transition into our toddler space with a quiet confidence. They already know how to listen to their bodies, they know how to communicate their needs to us, sometimes through sign language, sometimes through early words, and they have a natural curiosity that makes learning a joy rather than a struggle.
I know that the hardest part of your day is the distance between you and your baby. You shouldn’t have to spend your workday wondering if your child is crying, sleeping, or being held.
To give you true peace of mind, we have built absolute transparency into our daily routine. We provide our families with live camera access so you can check in on your little one whenever you need a quick smile. Because we keep our student-to-teacher ratios exceptionally low, our teachers aren’t rushed. They have the time to hold your baby, to talk to them, to sing to them, and to give you a detailed, honest update at the end of every single day.
We welcome infants into our Nido starting at 6 weeks old. Starting early allows us to help them build a secure, gentle routine right from the beginning of their lives.
Safety is our absolute baseline. Every single inch of our classroom is meticulously child-proofed and designed specifically for an exploring infant. Because our materials are made of natural, non-toxic elements and our teachers are constantly observing, your baby can explore with complete freedom and zero danger.
One of the core beliefs of my life is that we must never force a child into a pre-made mold. If your baby is facing physical delays, speech challenges, or has a highly sensitive temperament, my team and I will adapt the environment to them. We meet them exactly where they are, offering the right support at the precise moment they need it.
